Who is the richest FOREX?
I hear all these people on the web claiming to be rich and earn a living in foreign currency and, finally, trying to sell their "systems". What I do not understand is if their systems worked as they say it works, you probably should spend his time with his "system" and not try to sell ... So all this spam aside, is there really any person (real) that has become rich and famous, just for trade or investment Forex Market? anyone????
Maybe not just invest in the Forex market, but traders are famous mainly for its operations in Forex. George Soros comes to mind for me. He manages a hedge fund, whose operations were famous Forex Operations. Worth about $ 8.5 million, according Wikipedia. He made an estimated $ 1.1 billion betting against the pound in 1992. That trade is even more famous. As for system vendors ... you're right. What system vendors are not backtest systems, and the backtest period, performed beautifully. However, you can get a system to perform well in the past the adjustment periods to adjust to the data (the parameters so that they perform well against the known data). Such systems are not work so well when faced with a period which were not equipped for. I think there are some legitimate vendors and system builders around, and mechanical systems can work. However, I have not studied a lot of myself, and I've never seen anyone advertising on the web that seemed legitimate.
